Here at Renewable Energy Technologies we use state of the art inspection drones for both solar and wind power installations. Our drones are fitted with High Definition cameras and also Infra-red thermal imaging. This allows us to inspect large areas of solar arrays both domestic and industrial for any defects, cracks or failing cells in order that they can be replaced quickly with minimum downtime.

The drones are also crucial for inspecting wind towers and blades and the high definition allows us to spot even the smallest of cracks where also the thermal camera highlights any heat signature which may have cause for concern.

Our drones are also employed in the inspection of overhead power lines and also thermal imaging of switchgear and cable terminations.

We maintain a history of your installation so that over time we can spot trends and pinpoint possible problem areas.
